Sabrina inspired Garden Party Wedding

As true hopeless romantics at heart, a match made in heaven was formed when couple, Caroline and Ali, joined creative forces with Reagan Events. Primarily drawing inspiration from the classic film Sabrina, Reagan Events dreamt up a glamorous yet effortless garden party with French undertones, which were so effortlessly supported by the breathtaking setting of RiverOaks - an instant departure to Europe in and of itself.

The décor was feminine, romantic, lush, and intimate. A canopy of dense twinkle lights was suspended over the three long runs of tables. The tabletops had collections of monobotanical arrangements, as though one had just gathered armfuls from a French flower market and placed them in a vase. Lush greenery and florals grew along the trellis bar, trellis escort display, and trellis band backdrop, with the crescendo of florals being the overhead installation full of lush blooms in the dancing tent.

Some of the bride’s most favorite details were the custom papers.  Reagan Events commissioned Elizabeth Porcher Jones to paint various vignettes from RiverOaks.  From the iconic “party shack,” to the fountain, ducks, and even the bride’s beloved dog, Beau, Elizabeth painted the sweetest illustrations that were then turned into Caroline’s very own custom toile pattern.  This was used throughout the paper suite and was so beautiful that the couple decided to wallpaper their powder room with their wedding toile.

Caroline and Ali, cut a pink wedding cake with an oversized fondant bow by Ashley Bakery, after which Ali ceremoniously sabered champagne for their toast. With cooler temps in the evening hours, the fire was roaring in the “party shack” where dessert was served, which included Ali’s mother’s famous recipe for baklava, carefully prepared by Cru Catering.

The guests partied the night away led by Quiana Parler and Friends, with a special fraternity song dedicated to the bride and performed by her father and his closest friends.  The evening concluded with a sparkler departure and surprise fireworks display…and they lived happily ever after.
